The 8th lecture of the 2025 Special Lecture Series, hosted by the Hazard Literacy Convergence Education Research Center, will be held on Monday, September 29, in Room 351, Building B, College of Education, Ewha Womans University.

Dr. Sujeong Lee is a Principal Researcher at the Resource Circulation Research Center of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) and serves as the Lead Professor of the UST-KIGAM School, where she leads research on resource circulation and mineral utilization.

In this lecture, Dr. Lee will discuss the transformation of mineral resources from rocks to metals, and share perspectives on a sustainable future through the lens of geoscience and environmental responsibility.

This session will be especially valuable for those interested in mineral resources, resource recycling, environmental issues, and sustainability.
