The 9th lecture of the 2025 Special Lecture Series, hosted by the Hazard Literacy Convergence Education Research Center, will be held on Thursday, October 16, in Room 351, Building B, College of Education, Ewha Womans University.

Ms. Bangsil Shin, a senior journalist at KBS (Korean Broadcasting System), has led numerous reports on meteorological phenomena and climate change throughout her career. In this lecture, she will share insights from her field reporting in the Arctic and shed light on the realities of the climate crisis that affect our daily lives.This special session will offer meaningful reflections and inspiration for anyone concerned with climate change, environmental journalism, and a sustainable future.
