The 10th Special Lecture of the 2025 Series hosted by the Hazard Literacy Convergence Education Research Center will be held on Tuesday, October 28, in Room 651, Building B, College of Education, Ewha Womans University.

Professor Oh-Sung Kwon from the University of Toronto is a leading expert in seismic performance and simulation of disaster-resilient structures. In this lecture, he will present real-world case studies of earthquake damage and explore scientific methods for analyzing and simulating how structures respond to seismic activity. This session will offer a meaningful opportunity to deepen our understanding of disaster response, structural safety, and the role of simulation in reducing earthquake-related risks.
