Welcome to
Ewha Womans University College
of Pharmacy.
Since its foundation in 1945 as the first college of pharmacy in Korea, the College of Pharmacy at Ewha Womans University has produced approximately 11,000 graduates. Through a well-structured curriculum in both basic and clinical pharmacy, our alumni have contributed significantly as leaders across a wide range of sectors, including hospitals, government agencies, pharmaceutical companies, and research institutions.
Recognizing the need for a new paradigm in higher education that goes beyond traditional pharmacy education, our college established the interdisciplinary major—the only program in the nation that admits students from a liberal arts background. This innovative program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates global career development, business, liberal arts, public administration, international studies, and law.
Through this approach, we aim to cultivate pharmaceutical professionals with the global competitiveness required in the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory institutions. The College of Pharmacy at Ewha Womans University is committed to pioneering new initiatives.
We continue to pursue excellence in research and faculty recruitment and are dedicated to advancing our academic environment. With the construction of a new pharmacy building and the expansion of state-of-the-art research facilities, we strive to become a leading institution in both education and research.
