Interpretation and translation are increasingly playing a pivotal role in the politics, economy, society, culture, and arts of the nation. The faculty and the top graduates of Ewha Womans University Graduate School of Translation & Interpretation, who are the top interpreters and translators in the nation, are the researchers of the Ewha Womans University Interpretation & Translation Research Institute. The research institute provides translation and interpretation services for international conferences and various other venues, and actively provides research, education, and public services through academic conferences, academic publications, and non-degree programs.

Through experience gained over numerous years, our interpreters and translators have provided translation services and have greatly contributed to the advancement of our nation and society in addition to facilitating the exchange of ideas and cultures. In addition, through the non-degree program, not only is specialized education being provided to the general public, but many public services, such as translation services for refugees, are being performed. The research institute also provides tailored solutions, including commissioned education, for translation and interpretation needs in corporations and throughout society.
